Are you ready to buy your dream home?

Buying a home is such an exciting time in your life!  It can also be kind of scary... especially if you're a first time home buyer.  You're probably searching the internet for tips, asking family and friends for advice, and sometimes it can all be a bit confusing.  What mortgage company do you use?  Do you get pre-qualified first or find the house first?  How do you know when you've found THE House?  Do you use a Realtor?  If you use a Realtor, who pays the commission?  Who holds the deposit?  Does the deposit go toward the purchase of the house?  What about inspections?  Who pays for inspections?  What if the inspection doesn't go well?  What about the appraisal?  How do you know there are no liens on the house?  What about hazard insurance, flood insurance?  What happens at the closing?  These are all good questions!  And these are all things I will help you with, as you go through the process of buying your home.

As a Realtor since 1998, I've worked with many buyers, sellers, investors, lenders, inspectors, appraisers, title agents, HOA boards and management companies.  But I have to admit, the transactions I enjoy the most are the ones with first time buyers.  There's an excitement that just can't be matched when buying that first home!  Even though these first homes are not always the most expensive or in the most affluent neighborhoods, I get so much satisfaction out of helping young people get their start in the American dream of home ownership.

If you're thinking about embarking on this journey, I hope you'll give me a call or reach out to me by email or on Facebook.  I'm happy to answer any questions you might have and would love to help you find YOUR dream home!
