The Beautiful City of Weston lies on the western edge of Broward County and is one of our newest cities, incorporated in 1996.  There's simply no better way to describe Weston than to say it's beautiful.  Growing up in Fort Lauderdale in the 60's, 70's, 80's, there was no Weston!  Out west, there were everglades and alligators!  But Arvida, founded by (Arthur Vining Davis) did an incredible job building this city.  Since the area consisted of low lying, swampy land, they dug out big lakes, built up future home sites and roads, and today the city is considered one of the best places to live in America!

Weston is also cyclist friendly, having 46 miles of bicycle lanes throughout the city.  The city has developed a bicycle master plan, and almost all streets have a bicycle lane that is 5-6 feet wide.  Weston roads are typically not congested, as they were built wide enough to handle the city's planned population.  In addition to the width of the roads, the tree canopies and landscaping along the sides & medians make traveling these roads a pleasure.  Add to this, the roadways and sidewalks are continually maintained by the city, so you'll rarely ever see trash or debris in Weston.

Home prices in Weston range from a few condos you can find in the $200's & 300's up to $12.5 Million in the exclusive Windmill Ranch Estates community.  The median price of a 4 bedroom home with 2460 sq. ft. is currently $1M.  The average sales price for a 2 bedroom condo or townhouse is currently $362,500, with the average sales price of a 3 bedroom townhome being $566k.

The City of Weston also features some great parks, including Weston Regional Park that has swimming pools, playgrounds, a baseball field, soccer field, a skating park and hockey rink.  Sometimes they have concerts in the park and the city holds their 4th of July fireworks here.  Other parks include Vista View, Tequesta Trace and Gator Run.
