My wife and I used Debbie's services to both sell and buy a home. In both instances we found her to be extremely professional, responsive and knowledgeable on the markets we sold and bought in. On the sell side, before we selected an agent we interviewed five different realtors. What we liked about Debbie was that she was the only one whom we felt would actually SELL our home. She doesn't just stick a lock box on the door and manage phone calls. She actually showed the house to every prospective buyer pointing out key features and upgrades. In a matter of days, we had multiple offers to choose from. On the buy side she did a great job finding us properties that fell into our very narrow and demanding wish list. Once we identified a home we dealt with a very difficult seller and seller's agent. Debbie handled herself well and skillfully represented our interests. Even after closing, when she had no obligation to do so, she continued to help us with a few sticking issues caused by the seller. The best test of whether you are satisfied with someone is if you would recommend them to friends and relatives. We have done so and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Debbie again! Truly the best in town - My husband and I went through two realtors within six months of looking at homes, with no success. My husband and I had a very long wish list for our realtor Debbie Bates. There were many homes that fit some of our criteria. My husband had more time to look during the day so he and Debbie went to several homes and he would call me to see them in the evening. We were pretty desperate when we phoned Debbie on the referral of a friend.
I was six months pregnant, we were coming to the end of our apartment lease and had been searching for a home to purchase with no luck for months. Debbie shows up and immediately takes charge, showing us homes and keeping us on budget. She also took the time to pay attention to our preferences in neighborhoods, neighbors and school districts.
